I think that you will find the 80 lb arms too stiff for your 180. Most of the rest of us did...

My 60's run on the middle holes,
unless I know it's gona be a bit rough or I have a boat full.
On their hardest setting they have there own roosters so they must still be digging in
And I loose a good 5 or more MPH off my top end if I forget to reset them!
    I know you won't need 80's on a 180

I had a 16 footer that I swear had a ground up porpoise glassed into the hull.
My thumb got tired from constant trimming with limited results.
Smart tabs did all they claimed and better.
Company support during purchase and install was first rate.
    Can't praise them enough.

I have the 60's on my Diablo 180 with the 3.0L. I can't remember how I have mine set - but they put the boat up on plane instantly without nailing the throttle. I absolutely love them.. but the best part is when i'm heading back to the boat ramp (which is a long stretch of no wake area where you have to "creep" FOREVER. The Smart tabs made me go from looking like a drunk driver (had to constantly work the wheel left to right to stay semi straight).. to a perfect driver. The boat tracks perfectly straight at super low speeds now. Also, I did not lose any MPH with my install (checked it before and after running my 14.5x17p Michigan 3 blade on my GPS). However, I will test it out again..once I swap over to my 19p (which I need to get rebuilt).

Just so I get this right before I order them, I need the 80# ones for my z210 correct?

I don't notice any loss with them set on the middle hole. it's just if I've got them set on the hardest setting (furthest hole out) they dig in and slow the boat.....a bit
mind you if I've got them set hard then i'm either loaded or it's choppy out so i'm gona be slower anyway

    jsewall82,

Yes the 80lb tabs are what your after.
You have 5 different settings to play with for downforce adjustment.

I had the 80 lb tabs installed on my Z210 before I took it out for the first time and can't compare the with/without tabs, but I can say that I have never had it porpoising in the 60 hours that I've put on the clock. I usually run with them on the middle setting.
