I really am torn. The boat was blown off my lift in a windstorm last summer. The hull is fine other than some marks in the side of the boat. The back bench seat and rear deck need upholstery work - as far as I am concerned, and the black hull needs some minor repair as well as some kind of restoration as it has faded from the sun...the engine and all mechanicals (exception of trim gauge) works perfectly...and I love the boat. I have come across another already refurbished Z210 Limited edition(of similar age) and wonder if I shouldn't buy it and offer mine to someone for a great price? What are your thoughts concerning my delima?

Cost vs benefits... The price of buying one rebuilt the way someone else did the work PLUS the headache of selling yours worth it?
You know the mechanical history of your boat and what needs to be done. How do you know the other boat is 100% as described?


I enjoy a project. I'm biased to doing things within my experience level personally. Ever want to do something different with that sundeck? Perfect opportunity to now. The hull repair is something I'd get some quotes on.... or see about insurance coverage?

Working through all the bugs you inevitably have to work through when you buy something used would make me lean towards fixing my own unless I was using the opportunity to step up a size. Plus I think sales tax on used vehicles is a total racket.
