This is from one of my last emails with the late Jimmy Fulks when we were discussing the origins of the "Shabah" name:

Shabah (Islamic Mythology), also Shaba!
In Saudi Arabia, the name used for the F-117A was Shabah, the Arabic word for "spectre" or "ghost."

There are other meanings in other languages!

Also: Torture! - “Shabah,” a standard Israeli procedure for dehumanizing prisoners. After being handcuffed and having their feet chained, they are forced to sit in a tilted small chair tied to the ground, leaving them totally unable to move.
