RPM gauge wont work ,how do you fault find ?

The first thing to check is the little switch on the back, which selects the # of cylinders. Run it back and forth a few times to clean the contacts and see if that doesn't fix it. Make sure you return it to the correct position...

If that doesn't fix it and the sender is OK, then you might want to consider sending the gauge back to Faria. They have a limited lifetime warranty. For a small shipping fee, they'll refurbish/replace it. Check the support section of their website for details.
