help in connecting the right wires to the trim gauge 2001 258 just received a new trim gauge from
faria

    If you're looking at the gauge as it would be in the dashboard, here's the wire colors and their correct spots.

    Left side - purple wires
    Center - Black wires
    Right Side - Brown with White Stripe wire
    Illumination - Blue wire

    This pic will probably explain it better.

    Smile trim gauge

    Thanks for your help. Because of the location of the gauge I couldn't tell what wires came of which post the picture was great again thanks for the help
