Default Plastic Dash Discolouration.

I have got a 1997 180se with the blue plastic dash, over this last winter, it has discoloured due to the condensation and is now white. any suggestions on how to replace the colour or to get a new replacement plastic dash.

    hi Shaun

First off, welcome aboard! As for your dash discoloration, I'm afraid a replacement dash is out of the question. Check out this thread here to see how some of our other members dealt with the same problem.

Ahoy Shaun and Welcome the the forum!

As Mikey said, there aren't any replacements as the dashes were made in-house by Mariah and are no longer available and as you will read, re-painting seems to be the current option.

Hey Shaun, I had the same issue. My dad works part time for a Chevy dealorsip and he brought home some detailing stuff that is in a spray can, they use it on dashes. I put it on the faded spots and they disappeared completely. I am sure some day it will wear off, but I can always spray it again. So far we are at about 3 months with it on and still looks like new. I was worried I would have to get the dash re-dyed but this worked out much better.
