Default Dash ice box lid

I have a '99 Shabah 212z with a cracked
dash ice box lid. So much plastic everywhere.
Need to find new/replacement. A few other places
have minor cracks. It's a shame old
Mariah's and new are totally different and new
company is of no help?

Alex, unfortunately there's really no other option than repairing your icebox lid. The original parts were made in the Mariah factory from ABS molded plastic. The molds for the interiors and trim were either destroyed or sold for scrap. Which leaves us "old" Mariah owners kind of up the creek!

There are several places around the country that can perform plastic repair. However you might have to remove it and send it for repair if you can't find a local place. If you've got a woodgrain decorative finish on it, this can be added after the repair is completed.

When I bought my boat, the dashboard gauge cluster was cracked and damaged in a few areas. I went through the whole removal, repair, and restoration process. You can read about my whole ordeal by Clicking Here.

Can you post a pic of what yours looks like, maybe we could all put our heads together and come up with a solution for you!

My dash is different. This project is way over my head!
I will check into just having the dash ice box lid fixed.
    Thanks, Alex

Yeah, that's the best idea. Check locally for "Plastic Fabricators". If you can't find any, I might be able to help you with a few places that I found during my research.

This is a very nice 212Z Shabah with 5.7. I only have just a few flaws.
You said you knew of some plastic repair businesses? Thanks for the help.
I bought this Shabah for a great price from a guy down in Ill.
My family wanted a boat we could use on Lake Michigan and on inland lakes
here in Wisconsin. This Mariah fits the bill!
Last boat was a 25ft. Checkmate Convincor with 502 V-8.
I do miss the thru-hull exhaust from last boat, but otherwise really
    like the Mariah.

Try getting in touch with Stellar Plastics in Detroit MI. They were willing to do the plastic welding on my gauge cluster for a pretty reasonable cost.

    Stellar Plastics
    14121 Gratiot Avenue
    Detroit, Michigan 48205
    Phone: (313) 527-7337 Fax: (313) 527-7339
    Toll Free: (866) 291-9656

They might be able to help you out. If you can, snap a few pics of it, that way you can email the photos to them.

I tried to send an email to them, but it was retuned due to
emails being full? Toll Free no. had no answer.
They must be closed for the holidays??
    I'll try again sometime. Alex

I have the same problem(s). Here are a couple pics. I might try shopping around for a repair company as well. Let me know if you find anyone, and I'll do the same.

    Default Ice box lid

I can't reach... stellarplastics... that a fellow Mariah owner
recommended. Email won't go through. I had a Crownline
of similar size that I owned for 8 years that had none of
    these issues. Alex:
