Default Prop size and pitch question

I just purchased a 95' Z202 V8 Merc and I am curious as to the correct Propeller for the craft, and what upgrades could/should I consider for performance or power?

Thx...

Check the stickies on props. There are numerous variables. Ave weight in boat, style of boating, elevation etc. I have mine set for water sports. 5.7L 300 HP alpha 1 running 14x17 ss 4 blade. Top speed an out 45 mph at 5000' elevation

Your boat probably came with a 14 x 19, 3 blade aluminum which is a good all-around prop. As Firestone suggests, read the STICKIES at the top of the Prop Forum for suggestions on how to improve things depending on how & where you use your boat.
