Default speedo

my speedometer pickup was broken into pieces and am needing to replace. However it is not a normal pitot type replacement and it seems to have electrical wires inside the pickup or sensor. Does anyone have a pic or brand name of what I need to replace this?

I'm not familiar enough with them to help, but a picture would be good if possible. Another option is to take it to a marine parts store for their help. If you can get any information off it, you can try Google to see if something pops up.

Well, have found out that it is not the speedo, but is something like a tripmeter or informational unit of somesort. Was informed that the bravo has some kind of attached unit(speedo) that I was unfamiliar with. So still not sure what it is, but I am hitting Google for all info that I can find.

ah yes, Google is your friend in these situations. Please post what you find to help others (like me) who may have similar problems at some point.

Sounds like you have one of the Mark VIII computer display units that incorporated things like a trip meter, ETA, barometic pressure, trip timers etc. In the Original Mariah manuals & supplements section you should find a manual for that unit as well as the transducer it uses.
