Default Cheap 2000 Shabah

Hey guys just looking on eBay and found a 2000 27' Shabah and it seems really cheap even without the trailer??????? But i def like this boat! Obv the vinyl needs some work and the snap in carpet too and the middle window is bent and the decals missing other than that? Seems cheap to me! Just wanna get some more opinions. He doesn't say much about the motor running really but it looks fairly clean. Definitely would like to hear it run but am interested and it only has 1 day and a few hr left.

That is really cheap!!! I wonder if we have any members near there. If it goes for anything near that and the boat is as good as it looks that's a steal. I'm sure more experienced members will chime in soon...

Been watching it. Supposedly it has a Bravo 2... Seems odd.

At the end of the description it states the boat is for sale locally and they reserve the right to end auction early. This is an eBay game one plays. When they dont get the price they are looking for the listing is pulled.

This has happened to a few boats I've watched on there before. They end up being relisted at a later date saying something like "buyer was unable to come up with funds" or something silly like that.

That's exactly right moto because no one bids on an auction with a high reserve, so they list no reserve hoping folks run the bid up and if they don't they pull the plug. Pisses me off! Why don't people just list something for what they want to sell it for. If no one buys it then they have learned that they need to lower their price.

Could be a steal or a nightmare. No idea on hours? I think the Bravo 3 would be better but? A trailer is going to cost you 3-6k. I have a 98 and they are a great big big bowrider. But if he engine is junk the you are out another 5-10k

Per the description trailer is available for purchase. (Another way of having a lower sale price!)

By the looks of the photo its a Bravo 1. I didn't notice the dual prop in the photos.

Isn't that odd it would be a Bravo 1?

Unless the B3 was stolen and replaced with a more affordable B1. Its only the 5/8" ram nuts and 6 5/8" drive nuts holding them on. I'm sure someone experienced could get one of in under a minutes time...

I can tell you right off the bat, the thru-hull exhaust is not factory. You can tell by the use of the round circular tips, rather than the rounded rectangular tips Mariah used. Also, another giveaway is the shoddy cuts through the transom cover for those diverters. Very poorly done.

The Bravo 1's were an option, but I don't believe they were used very often, Mariah primarily used Bravo 3's as soon as they became available on the market. The big differences between a B3 and a B1 are maneuverability, and cost. The B3 is a big candidate for theft, as even used ones can fetch up to $5k or more, and any thief can simply remove it using only a socket and about 5 minutes of time. Motoxxx43's correct, most B3 thefts end up replacing with the Bravo 1, due to it's lower cost. My Z250 was originally equipped from the factory with a B3, and when I purchased it, there was a B1 on it, because the B3 had been stolen prior. After having both, I'll take a B3 over a B1 any day of the week. My Z280's way more maneuverable than my Z250 was, hands down...

If you can get the seller to supply you with the HIN, PM me, and I can compare it to the factory build sheets to see what the original setup was.
