Default 2000 Shabah 222

Guys, I just bought a 2000 Shabah 222, 5.7L, Alpha 1 Ivory & Black. The boat seems to have been really well maintained, just a few small scratches on the hull, upholstry is in good shape, the only thing that dont work is the speedometer, the only things missing is the sheild sticker on back of the drivers seat, one round sticker on the back of the boat. I took it out on the lake Saturday, this thing is solid as a rock and smooth as glass on the water, this is the first Mariah I have owned. I looked at it for a while and bought it after I got on this site and was seeing what alot of you guys were saying about these boats. I gave 13 Grand for the boat and my question to some of the veteran Mariah owners, is that in the ballpark for this boat? After being on the lake for several hours in it, this 10 year old boat seems to be of higher quality than alot of the new boats out there in the $40 to $50,000 dollar range.

Exactly . So there, you've answered your own question: You got a deal.

The speedo might just be a plugged intake hole. Here's a good resource: Replacement Boat Guages?!

Sheilds are hard to come by. Sometimes on ebay. SeaFox sells replacements, but they are silver trimmed as opposed to the original gold. There is a thread in the parts and collectible forum on how to get a hold of some of the other decals: Original Mariah Decals & Graphics - Ordering information
