ive only done audio in cars. where do u hook up your neg from your amp? do u run a wire all the way back to batt? or on fuse panel? where? and what size wire is everone using?

    I guess you can never had too many speakers bigv8, but you only get 2 eardrums!

    pimp: I used a 400 watt marine amp, placed it underneath the dash of the boat and just tied it into the power+ground going to the marine head unit, works/sounds awesome.

    Anything more than 100 watts and I'd ground it direcly to the engine block. Ideally, you want to keep your amp as close to the battery as possible but not grounded on the negative battery post. When you strech it out you put more of a strain on all the equipment involved, even the battery. DC does not like to travel long distances. Also, both power and ground leads should be the same size.

    Yeah, mine are certainly a little less sensitive than they used to be! Honestly, if you could hear the ones in the pic I posted, you'd never buy another set of speakers...You'd just make them yourself!
