Default power sunpad

I've been cruising the lakes for the past five weeks and always do a fluid check before departure. This past Sat. the power sunpad wouldn't lift (although I could hear it trying). I was just able to manually lift the sunpad and pull the seat forward so I could get in to have a look. The motor for the lift was working fine but it wouldn't raise or lower the ram. Noticed a grease nipple on the unit, so greased it up. What do you know, fixed, like new again. Word to the wise, lubricate....everything!

    Default power lift hatch

    hey Tod

when i bought m y mariah the power lift was disconnected and gas struts fitted instead. the lift motor was seized, i stripped it down and fixed it so it works fine, i was supprised that the drive connection between the motor and the lift ram was a small rubber drive bush, I thought it was a bit of a weak spot but it seems to work fine, i have not fitted the power lift yet because i cant seem to get any power to the motor, i dont know if there is a seperate fuse or circuit breaker for it. also is the power supply independant from the battery switch. i cant figure this out , if any one has any ideas please let me know

    best regards to all
