Default Interior light question

92 Diablo, would anybody know how many interior lights I'm supposed to have. I can't seem to find a single light besides the front mounted multi colored and the instrument panel gauge lights. I understand that there were several options on these boats but is no lights an option? Lol. How difficult would it to install a couple for nightime boating I would like some cockpit lights.

I don't have a Diablo, but I do have a 93 2350z. There are three in the bow, one at the nose and one on each side near the bow seats. There are four in the cockpit area, two in the rear and two up front by the driver and passenger. There are also lights in each of the two storage cabinets and in the engine compartment. There may be a wiring diagram in the owners manual that would help you determine how many are on your boat, and the location. Best of luck - Nate

I don't have an answer to that question, but I have one of my own.
Does anyone know the make of the overhead lights in a Mariah cuddy? Twin lights on one fixture, black plastic about 8" X 3"

    I have a 1999 218, I purchased this boat new. I still love it.

We are shopping for replacements as I speak. Ours work fine, just dated. We are replacing with LEDs. If your looking for replacements, I'll give you mine.

    Hi!
With me removing the interior of my 202 Shabah, I can tell you that I have the one courtesy light up front and center in the bow section (it's an open bow rider), then there are two lights in the open storage pockets on either side of the two captain's chairs, then there are two more in the side storage pocket areas just in front of the rear bench seat, and then there are two more, one on either side of the engine in the compartment in the stern. So, it looks like Mariah 202's have a total of seven courtesy lights.
I added LED tube lighting to have a more subdued interior running lights, as I have just installed the LED superbright white lights to my seven courtesy lights and they are a little bright.
Now to get back to the interior... Hope I get it done by next spring.....
