Are you sure about the 1994 ? As far as i know, the SX18 was released early 2005... And what kind of engine/drive does your boat have ?

I was lucky enough to find an old parts/marina on the Chain of Lakes in Fox Lake, IL. I have a 7.4 1995. I had to replace the belt that goes around the pump and alternator (there are 2 belts on mine). It was the outer belt.

The 454 has a tightening nut that will actually crawl up the channel to tighten it. After hours of manually trying to get the belt tight, I found this out...actually it was the next day. You may ask a mechanic about this once you get the right belt for your engine.

    Good luck!
