i need to buy a steering cable for my mariah sx18, anyone know the refence of the cable?

I also have an Sx18 4.3L Bravo 1 that needs a steering cable. Has anyone ever replced one or knows the Teleflex part number?

If you can get some or all of the old cable out, there should be a part number on the sheathing you can use. If not, you will have to pull the cable out anyway to get the lengths to order a new one.

This forum is pretty dead these days, most people use the Mariah Owners Club facebook page. Post your question there and you may get a better response.

Thanks Greg. I have crawled all along the cable routing in the boat multiple times and cannot find any numbers, just the name Teleflex on the jacket. I suppose I will have to pull it out to measure it for the marine supplier.
