Default Smart Tab issue

Hi Guys
Was going to launch my boat tomorrow but just realised one of my smart tabs actuators isn’t working properly.
There is hardly any resistance on the upward movement. Down wards seems normal.
Does this need a new actuator or could I fix it? Even temporarily.
I’m just launching on the river so no opening up as such.
I could just dismantle both but slow speed wandering isn’t good on these boats.
Cheers
Lewy.

Hey Lewy, doubt you get much response on here, only a few of us even check it anymore it seems. I'm guessing you already did a search on the forum for answers also. From your description, it does sound like one cylinder is failing, but I'm no expert on these things.

You should probably this question on the Mariah Owners Club facebook page too, many more people are active on there and I'm sure someone will have a better answer for you.

    Thanks Greg.
Yep, I think it’s kaput, so I have ordered a new one.
£70 in the UK. In USA from Nauticus website $35!
    Must be Trumps tariffs. 😂
I’ll check out the Facebook page too. 👍
