I was looking at 14x6 American Racing Outlaw II wheels. They have 3.750" backspacing and a 6mm offset. Do you think these rims will work on the trailer?

Hi dakotaman728, I have a tandem axle chariot trailer and my stock chrome wheels that came on the trailer were rusting out so I found that the ford ranger aluminum wheels where the same lug pattern and offset and went to the junk yard and baught a set and mounted my trailer tires on them and they fit perfectly and dont have to worry about them rusting anymore, just a suggestion. FYI there is a small lip in the center of the ranger wheels which will not let the rim fit over the hub on the trailer all i did was baught a hole saw the right diameter and drilled out the center lip. Doing this will not affect the rim being mounted true on the trailer. If you would like pictures I can get them for you and the size of the whole saw. Good luck and hope this helps If you would like to see what the rims look like on my trailer go to gallery click on my name and look at the pictures of my new wakeboard tower install, and you can see the trailer and rims in the pictures
