I just recently bought a 1999 218 Shabah cuddy. Does anyone know if these came with a front ladder or will any after market ladder work?

I'm almost positive that none of the cuddys came with a bow ladder and i dont recall very many posts asking about installing one. Possibly you could look thru this eBay link and figure out if something there will work for you.

I am pretty sure that the Jubilees came with a bow ladder though. Have a look thru this thread for some ideas.

I kinda figured that but wanted to be sure. Never owned a boat this nice before and there are a few things on it I've never seen on a boat so was just taking a stab in the dark.

My boat is very tall in the front, and almost impossible to get on while beached..... My first solution, was using a plastic pool ladder and put a carpeted 2x4 under it where it meets the boat.... This works pretty good, but is not very safe after several Bud Lights.... so, now I trim all the way up, and turn the boat around backward..... tie it off to the shore, then throw an anchor off the bow to hold er straight.... seems to work pretty well.

an added bonus, is since the bow cuts the waves, she doesn't seem to wash off the shore as easy.

Thanks DCB_MINDED I will give that a shot next time out. Kicking around ideas and i thought about one of those fold up plastic step stools also. But didn't think aobut your idea.
