Default de winterization?

As a new boat owner, what do I need to do to de-winterize my 4.3 mercruiser? plugs etc.

I would contact whoever did the winterizing. Most of the winterizing programs include most annual maintinance as well. So possibly just fresh fuel and away you go, re install battery.

I dont do anything other than put fresh gas in her, make sure the battery is fully charged, plugs are snug & then start it up. As long as it was properly winterized there shouldn't be anything more to do.

That said, some members do an engine oil change & possibly an outdrive fluid change in the fall and the spring. Plugs are usually good for 2 or 3 yrs, sometimes more depending on how much the boat has been used.

I had a boat shop winterize mine and I left with a bag of plugs and other things so I'll have them summerize it for me.
