Default Question about Blower / Horm

Hey guys, sorry I haven't been around in a while...but with this 100+ degree weather we've been having everyday over the past three weeks I've been trying to stay on/in the water as much as possibly. Got a problem though. My blower is not working. The switch is still lighting up, which I don't know if that matters or not, but I'm getting nothing from the blower at all. It started slowly....sometimes it came on fine, then it wouldn't, then it would....and no nothing. I'm hoping something's jus loose or a blown fuse or something but have no idea where to start.

Just found out today that the horn isn't working either. Worked fine when we got the boat.....but no more.

SO......any ideas?

1st check would always be fuses. After that since you're crawled up under the dash anyway, use a test light and see if you have power on both sides of the switch when it's turned on. If power is making its way through the switch, check for power directly at the motor. If you have power all the way to the motor, looks like the motor is out. The only other thing to double check is a good ground to the motor which can be checked with a simple ohmmeter or by reversing the test light lead to check for a ground.
