Default blower switch

I am trying to locate the blower switch on the boat that I purchased. I purchased a 1996 190 with a 4.3 L mercruiser. There are two switches on the left of the steering wheel. One I know is for the navigation, but the other I don't know what it is. i turned it on, but did not hear anything. I am supposing this is the blower. Any suggestions?

I believe so. That is where my blower switch is located. check fuses and inline fuses if you have them.

Do you know what the black knob is on the back of the boat abobe where you get onto the boat from the ladder. It seems to unscrew, but could not figure out what it is.

Sounds like the gas vent. Is it slotted?

I agree that it sounds like the gas tank vent. Either that or its knob for the spring that you have to wind up to make the boat go faster....

btw....as for the blower switch, check the wiring at the blower if its not the fuse. Sometimes it comes loose & gets a bit of corrosion.

Can you tell me where the blower is located? I looked last night, but had a hard time identifying it.

Usually located at the stern on the port side. You should see some 3" or 4" flexible tubing running back there that goes from the blower to the actual vent.
