Slightly odd question for here I guess, but here goes...

I'm running my 180Shabah on a river with a pretty harsh speed limit. Wondering if there is any adjustments that I can make to the throttle to make it more easily adjustable between tickover and tickover + a bit. Basically need to keep the speed under 12 knots or so.

I think it is the standard quicksilver throttle controller, and the modification would need to be something that could be undone reasonably easily - eg for when I do get out of the speedlimit zone!

Any ideas?

there might be a tension screw somewhere on the control. are you planning on keeping the boat? if so and there is a flat surface near the control you could think about putting zero effort controls in that can usually be bought cheap on ebay. i know its a smaller boat but by any chance do you have hydraulic trim tabs?
