I have 1998 Mariah Z272 with the Bravo 1 outdrive. The Faria Speedometer is not reading accuratly. I have read many of the posts regarding no or low readings due to the clogged port, or pitot tube on the outdrive. However, mine seems to have the opposite problem... it is reading way to high. When you are cruising, it will not stop climbing until the needle is buried. Any suggestions? Taking it out and sending it Faria for warranty work may be a winter project.

Hi apickens99, I've got to admit, hearing about an over-active speedo is a first for me as well, definitely sounds like the pressure system in the gauge has weakened over the years so sending it back to Faria sounds like the right thing to do.
