Mine wasn't working when I bought my boat. It looked to be dead (It had no numbers showing in the display). I opened the panel where it's installed and found an inline fuse on the power supply wire which was blown. I replaced that and the gauge then worked.

Another thing to check for Harry is corroded connectors on the back of the gauge. Many members have had strange electrical gremlins and once they removed and cleaned the connctors on the affected device, their problem was solved.

Let us know if you get it fixed Harry.

I"m glad you asked that question Harry...mine doens't work either! I'll check fuses and connections...seems basic...I guess I was busy putting in the stereo and engine this year!

Haven't been home to check Harry, I travel all week and only get to be around the boat on weekends! But I'll give it a check!
