Default trim reservoir
the cap for my trim reservoir doesn't tighten properly anymore, it leaks in rough water. Has anyone had a similar problem, would teflon tape be a temporary fix. I'll call mercruiser and see if I can purchase a repacement cap.

    Try going to mercstuff .com ,they have a lot of parts and speical tools ,I replaced my shift cable boot it was very helpful.
