Hello Everyone ... this is my first post on this forum ... I'm glad it's here! I just picked up a 2000 z268 Mariah. It's beautiful and I really like it. I'm interested in putting a windlass in it and was wondering what kind (if any) was installed in them by the factory. The boat seems to have a place for one in the anchor locker I'm hoping there is a direct bolt in option. If not any suggestions? Thanks!

This is not is not to raise a dead thread, but just an answer in case someone comes along (like me) looking for an answer.

I just got a 2000 Z268, and mine wasn't working.
It has on it a Sprint 400. Which looks original.
The website below shows that the original manufacturer was Simpson Lawrence owned by Lewmar

Looks like replacement will be Lewmar V700 Profish

Shabahz280, you may want to add Lewmar (or replacement link) to Vendors List.
