Z268 Windlass Question
Hello Everyone ... this is my first post on this forum ... I'm glad it's here! I just picked up a 2000 z268 Mariah. It's beautiful and I really like it. I'm interested in putting a windlass in it and was wondering what kind (if any) was installed in them by the factory. The boat seems to have a place for one in the anchor locker I'm hoping there is a direct bolt in option. If not any suggestions? Thanks!

This is not is not to raise a dead thread, but just an answer in case someone comes along (like me) looking for an answer.
I just got a 2000 Z268, and mine wasn't working. It has on it a Sprint 400. Which looks original. The website below shows that the original manufacturer was Simpson Lawrence owned by Lewmar http://www.lewmar.com/node/16899 Looks like replacement will be Lewmar V700 Profish Shabahz280, you may want to add Lewmar (or replacement link) to Vendors List.
