Just wondering something about the way that I shift...

When you shift from throttle lockout mode to reverse, are you supposed to keep holding in the finger button on the handle to get into reverse in one swoop or do you let it fall out of lockout and into neutral, then press in and hold the finger button to get into reverse...?

Just wondering if im doing something wrong or normal. Odd time it will stall on me and im not sure if its a shift cable issue im having ... or .. its a user problem that I'm having and I create the stalling. I do hear some grinding when shifting and I do try and be somewhat quick in shifting.
