Question new owner has questions

Just purchased my mariah on thusrday in time for the weekend on the lake. I have a few issues that need adressed and in looking for answers I've stumbled across this forum. My question is one for the captians chairs is cracked along the plastic housing and now its a permanant recliner. I saw the parts list your guys put out but didn't see anything about replacments for the plastic seat housings. Need help don't like ridng like a low rider.

    hi Geiffert

Unfortunately seats (only used are occasionally available) are very difficult to come by. The 'plastic' housing is actually fibreglass which can be repaired. If you're not experienced in f-glass repair though i would suggest taking the seat apart and finding an autobody shop that specializes in f-glass bodywork (Corvette's etc).

I have a 1994 Barchetta. The driver's seat is cracked. I am planning on the same project, but I think it can wait. The weather is getting right for boating.
