Default New owner of 2150 xlc, few questions

So I just traded an older side by side for a 1990 2150 XLC. This is my first cuddy cabin boat. I'm used to wake boats, so boy is this thing large compared to what I'm used to. Unfortunately, I have no sort of manual to the boat. I know v-drives pretty well but am not well versed on the outdrives. I've been going through and looking in all the nooks and crannies just checking everything out. I've came across a few things that I can't figure out what it is or does.

Inside the cabin, there is a small plastic tank on the starboard side with a tube that runs up in front of the driver window. Is this some sort of windshield washer? I don't have wipers so it doesnt make sense to me. Can anyone shed any light on this?

Also, the boat has a transom shower. Inside the cabin, there is a switch that says washdown. On the transom shower there are two switches, one is broken and the other is in place. Does anyone know what these switches do or how to operate the shower?

Finally, the bar/console if you call it, directly in front of the driver seat inside the cabin, has a sliding door with cutout inside for glasses and what not. Is this little compartment just for food and glasses? I thought it was a cooler at first but it looks to be wood inside there?

We are taking the boat out for the first time this weekend and we are looking forward to it. Thank you for helping me figure this boat out.

Can you send pictures of your questions ? I have the Z276 and it sounds like you have the same options.

I'll get some pictures when it stops raining out. I figured out what the tank was. It's for windshield wiper fluid. Someone took the wipers off the boat. Got a more serious issue now. Going through the boat and did just a static shift test for forward and reverse. Prop would not lock in forward or reverse. Cables needed adjusting so I did that. Now it locks in forward but not only clicks in reverse like it wants to lock but wont. Tried manually putting it in with just the cable and it still won't lock in reverse. I'm hoping once in the water it will work properly but my hopes are not very high. Looks like I may be dropping the outdrive.

    Got the shifting problem fixed.

Here are pictures of the shower switches. Anyone know what the other switch hole is for or how the shower operates?

On another note, looking in the anchor compartment this weekend, noticed there are two drain holes on the black spotlight housing that drain right into the boat. Is there supposed to be a tube on these?
