Not sure about the Talari. On the 202, the single piano hinge is dead center and screwed in a horizontal position just above the engine, so you can't easily see it. There is a "hinge block" that is a 1.5" square by about 8" long screwed to the sun deck using T-Nuts and the piano hinge is screwed into the hinge block on the perpendicular side...
