Default coil polarity on a 1997 Shabah w/4.3
Can anyone tell me the color of wire that goes on the positive terminal on my coil for a 4.3 Mercruiser? This is in a 1997 Shabah 198 and is the last connections that need to be made before I can start and get my timing set. I took pictures before I disconnected the wires but these connections were obstructed in the photo. Thanks in advance

    Thanks Larry!!!!! It runs great!! Now I just need to figure out why my trim gauge does'nt work after the engine was replaced.... Thanks again

    Make sure the trim switch wires weren't damaged , check all the ground wires you can find.
