I am considering purchasing a 1997 210 Shabah with a 7.4 single prop outdrive. How does the performance of the single prop compare to the dual prop system? I have been told by several boat owners(not Mariah's) to look for one with dual prop.

Well from what I can gather as a boat owner the dual give a better hole shot ad some say a little more low speed control. But according to Merc stats unless the dual is an x drive 400hp is the limit. Hope that helps abit.
