My up trim stopped working, I was able to raise the outdrive by crossing the wires at the pump. since then I found damaged wires leading to the trim switches on the outdrive and managed to repair these wires. Now I get a clicking sound when I push the up trim switch, my batteries are good and all connections are clean on the trim pump. Any ideas?

I have it fixed, 2 things were wrong at the same time, I had damaged wires at the outdriive leading to the trim switch and I had a bad solenoid at the trim motor.
