Default Alpha One/ Gimple

Here is the problem, the boat make a wierd noise when I turn starboard and takes on water only when I'm moving. Is this the Gimble bearing and or he bellows? I have read this is best takin care by a shop. How much should that cost so I don't get killed. Also I just changed the impeller, could I have screwed this up in a way that would create these problems? Any help would be awesome. The boat is a freshwater 1994 235 Mariah Davanti with a 5.0 lx mercruiser, alpha one out drive.
