I have a 2001 Mariah boat that I was told was a Diablo. Now, I've been told it really isn't but nobody seems to be able to tell me what it actually is! Since we are trying to sell it, we should really learn the model!

Can anyone identify it from this short video?

Please help as it looks like a 192 Shabah to me but also like the 200 Diablo.

I also need to know where I can the side Mariah emblem and the rear center emplem. (shown in video)

You're asking for a miracle based on that short video. I suspect though that it is a Diablo as they made a 180 and a 200 in 2001. We have the build records for Mariah Boats. Send your hull ID# to ShabahZ250 and he'll tell you what it was built as.

As for the decals, a simple search on our site would guide you. One of our members (95 Z240 Talari) has all of the remaining stock. You can check his thread/info out here.

Also, the Sea Fox/Mariah emblems are still the same as the original Mariahs so they can be ordered through a dealer. ~15 bucks.

Are you sure? I thought the new Mariah emblems were trimmed with silver and not with gold like the originals.

Hi Dredd,

Unless SeaFox/Mariah changed their shield, then Mikey's right, Take a look at the picture of the new shield as compared to the original shields (click here), the new ones are silver (chrome?) and they lack the "cross-hatch" pattern along the top where it says "Mariah".

Hah, wow I hadn't seen them side-by-side before so I hadn't noticed the differences. Sorry for the slight mis-information. I'm sure it's subtle enough that nobody is going to notice on opposite sides of the boat though.

Looks like my 2001 Diablo.. but in red. I looked at the second video you have posted on youtube... and your seating is different from mine. You have a complete bench seat in the rear and what looks to be a larger sun deck. Does the boat have a v6 in it? I'm still learning about mine but i'm guessing the 200 had a larger motor... so your boat is probably the next step up from my 3.0L powered boat?

Just my thought. Curious, if you are selling it... how much are you going to ask. Exterior looks good.. but the interior looks like in needs all recovered (I didn't see the bow seats though).

You could just replace all of them with the new version and no one, except for one of us Mariah afficionados, would ever know.....
