Default What's the model?

Just purchased my new Mariah, but have yet to find out the model of it. It is an 02 and was not constucted at Mariah Co. nor at Sea Fox (according to the Sea Fox people). The Sea Fox folks said it's definatly an original Mariah noting the gold lettering and the shields on the back of the captians chairs. The NADA site lists only a 202 Shabah BR that would be similar. Some folks are telling me it is a Diablo 200. It is a 20' and has "200" printed on the windsheild. The trailer it came with, and is titled the same year, has Shabah 202 painted on the fender. I'm not sure if Mariah put different models with different trailers. Anyway, not that it matters too much. It's in awesome shape, good looking tandam trailer, and a 5.0L Merc. can't wait for ice-out!! Let me know what ya'll think regarding the model.

Yep, that's a 200 Diablo. However I don't believe that's the original trailer for that boat. Mariah matched the color schemes and the graphics to each boat. Is it a Prestige or a Chariot trailer?

Just curious, could you PM me your hull ID number, the 2002 models are pretty rare, since they closed down the Mariah Plant on May 23, 2001. It's a big mystery and I'm doing some "investigative research" into the 2002 models. When the plant went up for auction in November, there were many unfinished boats that were sold, and we're trying to figure out whether they were finished by Sea Fox, or what the deal was!

Just an update, Kitto supplied me his HIN, and it was made by Mariah Boats Inc, and was manufactured in April of 2001. With a serial number in the 21k's. Most likely one of the last hundred boats ever made!

I just ran across this thread and found it very interesting.

Did you ever figure out the Definite Model of this Boat? If not and you don't mind giving me the Hull ID number I will try to look it up and possibly let you know how many other boats there were in production after this one.
