Can someone please tell me that lower hole isnt going into my stringer area and lower part of the hull? My brother is at my place, i am out of town, i asked him to drain the water from the motor, and he sent me this. Didn't notice it before.
I hope thats a bilge water runoff area from the front to back of boat, or i may be in some serious trouble. Water can get right in there.[emoji20]
All i have to go off is my old bilgeliner and it had an area through the middle where water came down from the front, through a small hole then under the motor and out the back drain, ( out of the water of coarse) lol!

It looks crazy but I don't think that "bowl" the motor sits in is structural. Mine has a round hole (1 1/2") where the factory transducer for the depthfinder was.. Supposedly it shoots thru the hull and gives the depth reading. Mine was missing and all I saw was a huge black hole and I thought the worst as well. Hopefully someone else will chime in with better info

Thanks, when i get back i can pull the back seat out and lift the carpet, theres some phillips screws it looks like to lift i cover im hoping exposes a bilge, where they notched that lower hole into. Not sure what that part of the motor is, but it has hoses maybe for water cooling. Power steering?
They took a lot of time opening the sides where the motor sits and installing big half inch aluminum bracket frame system, for motor mounts, no cracking or stress marks near them.
Ill find out either way when i get back....
