Hi mpotenciano and welcome to the club!

OK, I'm curious as to how you got a towel over the bilge pump...

We'll need a little bit more information to assist you so let's start with the basics:

Does your motor crank at all?
If not, is your battery is fully charged?
Have you checked and cleaned your battery terminals?
If you have a dual battery switch, is the switch in the correct position?

Does the motor crank but won't start?
Is the shifter in the neutral position? (wiggle the shifter back and forth in case your neutral switch is a little out of alignment)
Is the Kill Switch in the run position?
Is the master circuit breaker tripped? (Big red button located on top on the engine towards the rear)?

you know what they say: If you don't know what it is, eliminate what it isn't and what's left is your problem....

Don't forget to replace that 25 amp fuse with a 7.5 amp fuse to be safe.

Good luck and let us know what you find,
    WetWilly
