Notches for the 5.7 to fit. Shabah 180 98' body

My brother is at my place, i am out of town, i asked him to drain the water from the motor, and he sent me this. Didn't notice it before. I hope thats a bilge water runoff area from the front to back of boat, or i may be in some serious trouble. Water can get right in there.[emoji20] All i have to go off is my old bilgeliner and it had an area through the middle where water came down from the front, through a small hole then under the motor and out the back drain, ( out of the water of coarse) lol! It looks crazy but I don't think that "bowl" the motor sits in is structural. Mine has a round hole (1 1/2") where the factory transducer for the depthfinder was.. Supposedly it shoots thru the hull and gives the depth reading. Mine was missing and all I saw was a huge black hole and I thought the worst as well. Hopefully someone else will chime in with better info

They took a lot of time opening the sides where the motor sits and installing big half inch aluminum bracket frame system, for motor mounts, no cracking or stress marks near them.
