I have a Mariah talari 200 with a 5.7 merc. I have had the boat for a month. I have 2 problems:

1] I have water coming in the boat. My auto pump comes on a lot. Does not apear to be coming from the motor. We checked that real well.

2] At take off the boat has a vibration.....shimmy??? But only at take off. The prop that was on the boat did have a piece out of one of the blades. I have replaced with a 4 blade.

Check all your bellows on the outdrive really close I just had a cracked shift cable bellows but could only see the tear with the drive fully up and turned all the way to port side. As for the shimmy I'm not sure but if the prop was out of balance it would only get worse as you increased your rpm not better.
