    Title Bennett Sport Tab Installation
Description After running the boat for the first season, I decided to add trim tabs to keep the boat level independant of where my passengers chose to sit. I chose Bennett's Sport Tabs because I figured the extra length would compensate for having to mount them closer into the keel (Bennett recommends they be installed as far out as possible. Additionally, I installed the Auto-Tab system, which automatically adjusts the tabs according to changes in level of the boat (fore vs aft as well as starboard vs port. There's a sender unit that's mounted to the floor that senses the level and it's connected to cpu. There's a control panel mounted on the dash next to the manual switch. It provides indications as to which way the tabs are being adjusted as well as provides control over adjusting the levels and setting the zero point. Addionally, I added an auto-tab retractor unit which detracts the tabs completely when the ignition switch is turned off. At one time, I did purchase the "Trimdicators" kit which shows the current tab position but there was no real place to mount the seperate indicators although Bennett now offers indicators in a single unit with tab switches to control the tabs manually. I'm really happy with the entire tab system and it works beautifully. With the auto-tab system, all I do is hit one "On" button which turns the system on, levels the boat and continue making any needed adjustments...pretty slick!
