Re: Outdrive tried to jump ship
U joints weren't bad but I had it out so I changed them PV you how that is.
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU so much for your help even if we didn't find the fix it makes all of us think out side the box. You rock this site by the way! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD |
Re: Outdrive tried to jump ship
Why..........thanks Rynovw.
We all do our best to help our fellow Mariah owners. The cost of toys go up and up , and if I or any of the other members can help a fellow boater to get back in the water.....it's all worth the effort! Make sure you update us! |
Re: Outdrive tried to jump ship
OK so you've tried or the normal stuff and that's not worked!
so thinking way outside of the box, have you run a small telescopic magnet down the hole to make sure you haven't picked up something on the greased shaft when installing. It wouldn't take much to jam it as its a machine fit... Clutching at straws now though. |
Outdrive tried to jump ship
Ok so the tool is a must!!! As soon as I got to the marina to drop her off Travis walked out with his tool and moved the gimbal bearing to align it. Bad part if my impatient butt wouldnt have tried to move the motor I would be back together already but he had to put the motor back where it was so he'll have it a day or so. They are 3 weeks behind right now but he was going to slide it in for me. Then he's coming to my shop after that to help with the stabbing the drive and tune up. On a side note he's got the program to get the 525hp out of my set up so we'll see where that leads
