Default Sierra Trailering Clips?

Do any of you use Sierra 18-9099 trailering clips with your alpha drive? Would you use these in conjunction with a transom saver?

I use the trailering clips (which I have cut towards the specs for an Alpha drive with annodes on the hydraulic pistons ), I don't use them with a transom saver as I don't see the point in having both.

    Kindest regards,

    Johan

+1, I use the clips and don't use a transom saver.
The advantage of a transom saver is that it is supposed to transfer the load of the drive bouncing around to the trailer rather than the transom, the clips can't do that. But, with power trim you'd have to take the pressure off the rams after installing the transom saver and I'm not even sure how you could even do that effectively. Transom savers seem best served on outboards and aluminum boats to me.
