HI Folks,

Does anyone know what the weight of a Shabah 180 plus trailer would be?

I'm thinking of having a trailer hitch installed on my '98 Toyota Avalon since my friend is always taking the boat here and there for me, but since I don't know the weight of the boat and trailer, I can't contact my car manufacturer for info.

So, if you have any data on the '96 Shabah 180, I would appreciate it.

The boat itself weighs approx 2250lbs so factoring in the accessories & other stuff you keep on the boat and the weight of the trailer, you will be pulling about 3000lbs. A class 2 (3500 lb) hitch is required.

I can tell you that my 182 Shabah with the matching trailer is 3,200 with the 4.3. Hope that helps.
