Default New Boat Trailer

Lets see where to start, I have not been able to take my boat out one time this year due to my trailer rotting from the inside out . I was not able to move the boat for fear of the tonge breaking off and losing my boat while driving to the water. I am posting some pictures of before and after but let me tell you how much extra metal I had to bolt to the frame just to make it 2 miles to the water to get the boat off and on to new trailer .

I live in Florida and take it out on the ocean and I take it to lakes to wakeboard and tube. I just thought it was odd that the tongue rotted out and not the back of the trailer. The trailer over the winter looked absolutely perfect, it wasnt until i touched the trailer that the whole side fell apart which led me to further inspection and alot more rot.

That new trailer looks pretty sturdy. What manufacturer is it?

The new trailer is a 2006 continental aluminum Ibeam, tandem axle. I added the aluminum wheels to it after I baught the trailer, because it came with galvanized wheels and they always seem to rust even though they are galvanized. And yes it is real sturdy
