Default Thinking of purchasing a 2008 sc25 with 425hp

Hi I am thinking of purchasing a old stock new mariah boat, thinking that now is a great time to get a good deal on a boat. I have just moved to Savannah GA from Atlanta GA. Any advice that any members can give will be greatly appreciated. This will be my first boat, I would like it a great family boat for cruising and watersports, and a big plus for me would be able to take it fishing too. Thanks in advance for any comments.

Hi andrewbarber and welcome to the MOC!

Wow, a '08 SC23 w/425hp... you definitely won't have to worry about getting up on plane. I am curious abut the HP, as the brochure states a Max hp of 300.

Whether 300 or 425hp, both will give you awesome performance tubing, wake boarding or just getting to those favorite fishing spots real quick, so if the price is right, I would go for it!

Good luck and hope to hear about your new Mariah soon ,

You will love it. I just purchased a SC25 back in July with only a 5.0L. I don't have any problems with getting it on plane, and is great on gas. This boat is great for everything the family is looking to do.

    Good Luck.
