Default Dash re-skin with vinyl wrap.

I bought my 1999 Z222 the end of last season and couldn't stand the worn out wood grain trim around the boat. I thought of repainting it until I peeked underneath the dash and found that is was glued into the ABS at the factory. So instead of painting I purchased a 2' x 5' piece of red carbon fiber vinyl wrap that all the import tuners stick on the hoods of their cars. The boat is all white/beige on the interior with a white and black cherry gel-coat on the outside. The additional color introduced to the interior make the interior look much better.

So far I did the easy parts and took 3 trips to the lake to make sure it would hold up. So far so good....... It has been a little time consuming, but I love tinkering in the garage with some good tunes. A heat gun is needed to get the vinyl to wrap around the curves easily. The biggest hurdle is removing and re-install of the gauges/switches.

Paid $50.00 for the the vinyl and already had the heat gun. Bought the vinyl from - Wrap Vinyl
