Default Removing dash panel?

I need to replace my clock and depth finder gauge. Any pointers to remove the panel to be able to remove and replace the clock and gauges?

You may want to have a gander at THIS prior to taking off the panel.

Yes. Don't. I'm the one who wrote the linked article above, and I would strongly urge you to NOT remove the panel. They're extremely brittle and irreplaceable if anything were to happen to it.

You should be able to replace the gauges you need to replace without removing the entire panel, as long as you've got good access behind. Chances are in your boat, you'll have a panel in the mid cabin that can be removed for gauge access.

You can definitely remove the gages without removing the panel, I've changed out my Tach & Speedo . As far as the clock is concerned I found on my Z280 that the inline fuse holder mounted near the battery was corroded. I cleaned it up and the clock has been working fine ever since. Check for power are the rear of the clock before replacing it.
